Durability
Dummy Cores by Matsim are designed using pin technology, where electrostatic charge is dispersed towards the label from the sharp ends of the pins. The so-called “hard” dummy cores (unlike those made of sponge/foam) are more durable – they do not come into direct contact with the mold. They resist deformation and do not absorb moisture.
Innovation
The IML label is held in place by a vacuum system of suction cups – external ejectors are required for proper operation. The wrapping of the label on the dummy core by Matsim occurs automatically – no supporting systems are needed.
Technology
Dummy cores by Matsim are crafted using milling technology. 3D printing (two technologies, depending on the purpose) – on request. Offered colors: white, gray, or black. Charging voltage – up to 15 kV.
Personalization
Upon request, we also offer: dummy cores made of sponge, Easycore resin (Simco), driven (rotating) dummy cores, multiple dummy cores, dummy cores with moving parts, or other unconventional solutions.
